Hey lovelies,
So I have a little over a month left before it will be my 1 year nappiversary. That’s insane! I am almost lost for words. SO far it has been a great journey and I’m looking forward to the upcoming years. Today I was able to do a nice roll, tuck, and pin type of look on my first try and I loved looking at the texture of my hair! I would say it’s 3c, 4a but I love my textured hair. I think textured hair is amazing! No one has hair like we do and I’m glad we are starting to embrace and uplift one another. I honestly believe all natural hair is beautiful and I know that we can sometimes become curl obsessive. If you have curls great, if you don’t great, that doesn’t mean you can’t rock a twist out, a braid out, a bantu knot out, some updos, or any of those styles! I love my curls, kinks, and coils! I love the way God made me. He didn’t make a mistake when he chose the texture of our hair. Beauty does come from within and when you love yourself, only then can you exude confidence on the outside. Sometimes you have to fake it til you make it but that only lasts so long. I want to say to natural-haired women, love your hair and don’t compare it to anyone else’s. Don’t compare your journey to someone else because if you do, you will only be disappointed. If you want tips and tricks ask me and I will answer based on my experiences and knowledge. I’m not a professional when it comes to hair, I’m still learning about my own! Ha! Slowly but surely I’m getting there. At the end of the day you are beautiful. <3 Here’s a little collage of my hair:

Signed and Sealed,
CC
